Today’s Japan Photo: Waiting For The Train

What do you usually do when waiting for public transport. For Today’s Japan Photo, we will take a look at the common everyday sight of what  commuters do while waiting for the train – play with their cellphones.

The State of Japan

I just love this interesting photo that was taken by Josh Liba. Josh mentioned that one of the reason why you see so many commuters using their cellphones is because they want to avoid eye contact with one another. As for me, I prefer to look around my immediate area for pretty babes and try to make eye contact ^^

The girl on the left is writing her novel. The girl on the right looking on line for hostess jobs in Thailand. The man in the middle is watching porn.

  2. One can’t do that here in my country. Your chances of being a victim of a crime increases the moment you bring out a gadget. Hence, when I wait for the bus or the train, I’m on alert; looking at my surroundings and observing the people to rate the safety of the area.

I’d rather observe than play on a gadget. I like looking at people and try to imagine what’s on their minds or what kind of people they are. fufu. ^^
