Hayate no Gotoku Adapted Into Taiwanese Live-Action Drama

Taiwan has adapted a couple of manga series into drama, including Skip Beat!, Itazura na Kiss, and Hana Yori Dango. The latest announcement come from Taiwanese production and broadcasting company Gala TV, whereby it will be making a live adaptation of the comedy manga series Hayate no Gotoku ハヤテのごとく!.

The story follows a boy named Hayate who serves as a butler, bodyguard, confidante, and more to a girl named Nagi to pay off a 156,804,000-yen (about US$1.8-million) debt. 20-year-old Korean actress Shin-Hye Park will play Nagi, while 28-year-old George Hu will play Hayate himself.

I wonder if the drama will feature Hayate cross-dressing scenes, especially in that kawaii meido outfit and bunny ears. If it does, I’d definitely be catching this drama.  LOL
