I’m sure many of the anime fans like myself have enjoyed the anime series Bakemonogatari 化物語 which was adapted from a novel series. The prequel to the novel, Kizumonogatari「傷物語」 has been given the green light to be adapted into an anime series as well.
The announcement was made together with the just released novel Nekomonogatari「猫物語 黒」. The story of Kizumonogatari will be centered around the vampire, Oshino Shinobu, which wasn’t featured much in Bakemonogatari.

I’m quite sure Shaft is going to continue their usual work pace and take forever to release the entire series. But good series are always worth the wait!
