Do you enjoy visiting the bookstore on your day off? This police officer visited the bookstore while he was on leave but he wasn’t there to purchase books. Instead, he was arrested after he was caught red-handed taking an upskirt video at a bookstore in Yokohama.
Toru Nagahata, a 31-year-old head patrol officer, was caught using his mobile phone to film up a woman’s skirt while she stood reading books just after noon at a shop in Totsuka Ward.
According to police, Nagahata has admitted to the charges. He was quoted as saying that when he saw the woman, he “just couldn’t resist” and that he had done it several times in the past.
He was spotted by another female customer, who grabbed him and called for police. Nagahata was off duty at the time.
