We frequently see thick growth of bamboo being used as a scene in anime series (e.g. Kara no Kyoukai). For Today’s Japan Photo, we will be visiting one such bamboo forest in Kyoto.
This great-looking photo was taken by Marser. I really like this photo because it gives me the feeling that some ninja are just hiding in the thick bamboo around the bend just waiting to ambush me XD
