Japanese convenience store franchise Lawson has partnered with Evangelion to create a very special Lawson Tokyo-3 Shop right in Hakone, Kanagawa (location of the fictional city Tokyo-3) and it contains losta Evangelion goodies.
Here’s a look from the outside of the store and you can see the large banner announcing that the Tokyo-3 convenience store is open.
All the staff are wearing special Lawson Tokyo-3 Jackets. I would take up part-time job there just to owe one of those jackets.
The store is just filled to the brim with Evangelion character goods from those you can eat to those for display.

sadly it’s already closed down from what i’ve heard recently. just in mere days after it opened due to the problems..

Today I went to Lawson and saw sooo many eva goods, it was awesome! Ramen, coffee, clear-files, snacks etc. Can’t believe eva was originally created 10 years ago! It has been supported by more than one generation. I hope they will do this kind of campaign more often.
