You know it was a matter of time before Konami decides to target the iPhone crowd after the successful introduction of the Love Plus game for the Nintendo DS. Konami held a press invitation today at the Mac Collection store in Akihabara, where they had announced three Love Plus applications will be released for the iPhone on the iTunes store tomorrow.
Love Plus iM, Love Plus iR and Love Plus iN will be available via the iTunes store and will retail for 600 yen each. Of course, the three applications are essentially the same except that they feature the three different protagonist Manaka Takane, Rinko Kobayakawa and Nene Anegasaki. If you tap on the clock feature, the girls will read out the time to you in their own voice and based on the reports, their voice will actually change depending on the time and the season.
There is also a calendar that can help you manage your schedule so that you can spend your time more effectively and have more time for your “virtual girlfriend” on the Nintendo DS.
The most interesting feature of the application would the the AR (augmented reality) camera, that inserts the girls into the picture you take, so that it makes it seems like you actually took a photo with them.
In future updates, Konami is planning to include features such as voice alarm clock and even announce their events by syncing with the application’s calendar.
