		<description>thats what i always do. but come to think of it, if you are walking up the escalator, doesnt that made taking the escalator route completely useless (maybe a bit faster)? it may be dangerous in other sense</description>

		<description>People in Singapore usually stand to one side on the escalators because there are always people that want to rush up to the platform to stand and wait for the train just as long as the rest of us.  Maybe it&#039;s their morning exercise?

Seriously, though, I can see how in some instances people would want to rush out of the train station, but it is kinda dangerous.  If they want to walk faster than the escalator, why not use the stairs?  Aren&#039;t there any stairs in the Japanese train stations?</description>
