The 33rd Japan Academy Awards was held yesterday at the New Takanawa Grand Prince Hotel in Tokyo.
If you had been following Mamoru Hosoda’s (細田 守) twitter, then you would know that Summer Wars (サマーウォーズ) won the Best Animation Award for the year.
The Summer Wars director was even kind enough to upload a quick shot of the award:
