Here’s an weird music video filmed by director McG called Akihabara Majokko Princess. It features Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst prancing around Akihabara wearing a sailor moon styled uniform, singing the 80′s song “Turning Japanese”.
The video was produced as part of the “Pop Life” exhibition by Takashi Murakami at London’s Tate Gallery. I can’t seem to make much sense of the video except that wonder why they would associate Turning Japanese with just Akihabara?

Luckily (I guess?) I managed to watched the video before it was removed. But in my opinion, the video makes you think this is how Japanese are. Which is rather misleading… =S
