Been waiting around for an online hobby store to carry those flying pantsu ornithopter and finally Hobby Search didn’t disappoint me. For those uninitiated, an ornithopter is an aircraft that flies by flapping its wings. These unique pantsu ornithopter are manufactured under the supervision of of Sci-fi writer Nojiri Housuke.

These pantsu ornithopters are scheduled for release in early March 2010 and will be retailing for around 1,000 yen. Interested folks can check out Hobby Search for the Pink Border + Blue Polka or the Pink Polka + Blue Border.

So what do you do with all these flying pantsu? Participate in Sora Fesu [空フェス], a gathering of owners of these flying pantsu on 06 March 2010! Just imagine seeing 1000 thousand shimapan flying in the blue sky. LOLOL

Someone need to organise Sora Fesu in Singapore as well. Maybe Marina Barrage is a good location. ^^
