For Today’s Japan Photo, we shall visit Roppongi Hills Mori Tower [六本木ヒルズ森タワー] which is one of the tallest skyscraper building located in Roppongi, Tokyo.
This lovely night scene photo was taken from johopo (John)’s flickr. I loved how he managed to include the streets signs into the photos, while placing Mori Tower as the backdrop.
Here’s a little more background info on Roppongi Hills Mori Tower [六本木ヒルズ森タワー]:
Roppongi Hills Mori Tower (六本木ヒルズ森タワー) is a 54-story mixed-use skyscraper located in Roppongi, Minato, Tokyo. Completed in 2003 and named for builder Minoru Mori, the tower is the centerpiece of the Roppongi Hills urban development.
It is currently the fifth-tallest building in Tokyo at 238 meters (781 ft). Mori Tower is a mixed-use facility that is used for retail and office space. The tower’s first six floors house retail stores and restaurants. Floors 7–48 serve as office space and house corporate tenants such as Goldman Sachs and The Pokémon Company’s headquarters. Former tenants also included Konami and Yahoo! Japan. The Mori Art Museum is located on the 53rd floor and visitors can view the city from observation decks on the 52nd and 54th floors.
