How much would you pay for this movie strip from the anime movie “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st “? This particular strip featuring a smiling Fate was auctioned off for 532,000 yen! @_@ This insane amount is more than twice the price of the Rei Ayanami film which was auctioned off back in 2008.
If you were wondering how fans managed to get hold of the film strips, it was because the theatres were giving away a five frame filmstrip to any fan that watched the movie three times. Obviously they quickly became prized item on Yahoo! JP auction.

If I was to pay 532,000 yen, I would expect to get the entire roll of film!!
I dunno yet what I would do with ¥532,000 but it definitely won’t go into buying a strip of a movie!
I’d watch it 5 times for that.
