A wise man once said: “Never rob the place you eat”. But it seems like a man decided to rob a Yoshinoya beef bowl restaurant in Nagoya City on early Thursday morning after finishing his meal, and making off with 30,000 yen.
The man, dressed in black and wearing a black beanie, entered the store at around 3.30 a.m. and ate two large bowls of beef on rice and had two bowls of miso soup.
When the employee came to take the bill, which came to 1,260 yen, the man suddenly pulled out a knife from a plastic bag and threatened her with it, demanding she hand over some cash. The employee gave him about 30,000 yen and the man then left the restaurant, fleeing the area on his bicycle.
The man covered his face with a mask just before the attack but security cameras in the store recorded footage of his face, police said, adding there were no other customers in the store at the time nor were either of the two staff injured.

I found it funny that he managed to ate so much at 3am. If I ate that much, I would be too sleepy and lose any motivation to carry out the robbery. But it was a good way to burn off the calories by riding away on the bicycle.
But what’s even amazing is that Yoshinoya is open at 3am in the morning? Not that I enjoy their food, but I didn’t know they operate 24 hours in Japan.

I like eating at Yoshinoya. IMO it’s the best Japanese fastfood resto here in my country~
Yeah, I also find it surprising that Yoshinoya is open at 3am O_o
Yoshinoya in Japan opens 24 hour.
robbing while treating himself with good food @@ thats beyond my imagination haha
This would be funny if after the robbery he suddenly paid his bill.
