The figure which I had been anticipating is finally up for preorder! Goodsmile Company started taking preorders for the second figure of Black Rock Shoot and this time she is wielding a lovely black blade instead of the giant canon in the previous version.
She is scheduled for release in May 2010 and will be retailing for around 7,140 yen. Interested folks can place your preorders with Hobby Search, Hobby Link Japan or Otacute.
I really love how she compared to the previous version, especially because she is holding her jacket in one hand while wielding the blade in the other. The base is also much more compact, which is good because I’ve totally ran out of display shelf space.
She looks a much better for me than the first figure of BRS.
I like the jacket part of this, but overall still prefer the first figure. That was da bomb!
My thoughts walk on the same line as those of Nekomimi above – she looks way better with the sword while holding her jacket in the hand. I just couldn’t resist so I placed my preorder earlier today. ^_^
