Yahoo! JP Polls: Otaku Wives for 2009

The year 2009 is coming to an end. So which female characters are so favored amongst otaku that they want to turn them into their own wives? Yahoo! JP did a survey of the Top 10 most wanted anime wives and Mari Illustrious Makinami (真希波・マリ・イラストリアス)  from Evangelion 2.0 clinched the top of the charts!

  2. Sawako Kuronuma [Kimi ni Todoke] – 9,777 votes
  3. Mio Akiyama [K-On!] – 4,664 votes
  4. Hinagiku Katsura [Hayate the Combat Butler] – 4,231 votes
  5. Yui Hirasawa [K-On!] – 3,933 votes
  6. Megurine Luka [Vocaloid] – 3,392 votes
  7. Taiga Aisaka [Toradora!] – 3,128 votes
  8. Nodoka Haramura [Saki] – 1,990 votes
  9. Mikoto Misaka [A Certain Scientific Railgun] – 1,900 votes
  10. Hitagi Senjougahara [Bakemonogatari] – 1,762 votes

While I’m not really fond of having any 2D girls becoming my wife, I wouldn’t really mind if my wife actually looked like the gorgeous ちゃまろさん who cosplayed Mari Illustrious:

    Same here! I would prefer someone who looks like Chamaro-san to be my waifu instead~

    Wait! Why am I settling for a look-alike if I can have the original? LOL XD
