Japanese Monkeys Enjoy Hot Spring

As we near Winter season, the weather is getting cooler and one of the best method to warm your body is to visit the nearby hot springs. It seems like not only humans enjoy a good warm soak but also these funny and cute monkeys.

As mentioned on Mainichi Japan:

Japanese monkeys take a soak in a hot spring on the grounds of the Nettai Shokubutsu-en, or tropical botanical garden, in Hakodate, Hokkaido, on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009. On particularly cold days, there are apparently some monkeys that stay in the water all day. The hot spring will remain open until spring. For more information, please call the botanical garden at 0138-57-7833. (Mainichi)

I particularly loved this photo because you can see each of the monkeys are doing different activities and have a very relaxed expression on their faces ^^
