Whether joking or not, you may be spot on about at least some of them being guys. There’s always one sure-fire way you can tell whether a person’s a guy or a gal (without being saucy) – check their adam’s apple (the larynx protusion from the front of the throat).

The one in front, second left has a very prominent one, hence, guy.
