Man Marries Virtual Game Character

What would you do if your best friend informs he was going to get married to a virtual game character?
Well one man identiefd only as SAL9000 brought his DS along with a copy of Love Plus to Guam, and held a church wedding with Nene Angegasaki [ケ崎寧々], a character from dating sim Love Plus.
It is said that he will be holding another reception for family and close friend on 22 Nov 2009, and it will be also streamed via internet.

Well, I, for one see absolutely nothing wrong with falling in love with a 2D character. When you’re in love, you’re in love. If you truly love someone, you will never yield to others’ criticisms.
I truly admire this man for his bravery to stand up against all odds to be united with his loved one, and I aim to one day follow in his footsteps, and fufill my dream of marrying my beloved Kotori-chan at SAFTI Military Institute one day.
