Anison Kouhaku 2009 Scheduled On New Year’s Eve

I’m sure many fans of JPOP would be familiar with the annual music show NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen 「紅白歌合戦」 which is held on every New Year’s Eve.

Apart from having the usual Kohaku this year, NHK has announced that they will be having a special Anison Kohaku 2009 「アニソン紅白2009」 and it will be a gathering of all-star cast of popular anime theme song singers and seiyuus!!!

The celebrities will then pit themselves against one another in the similar red team(female) VS white team(male) tradition.

The show held at Theatre G Rosso in Tokyo Dome City on 31 Dec 2009 (10pm) till 01 Jan 2010 (1am), and the show will be broadcasted on BS11 (NHK’s cable channel). The list of singers and seiyuu that will be participating in this event is still unconfirmed, but I’m confident it will be super fantastic!!
