Spotted this lovely photo on Mainichi Photo Journal and I thought I should share it with you folks ^^

The garden of the Ankoku-zenji temple in Toyooka, Hyogo Prefecture, is ablaze with fall foliage at its height on Nov. 13, 2009. The autumn leaves at this Muromachi Era Zen temple will be lit up at nights until Nov. 20. (Mainichi)

Really love the background of the red autumn leaves and then just the silhouette of the monk in the foreground. I don’t get to see red autumn leaves because Singapore is tropical all year round. In your part of the world, do you get to see lovely seas of red leaves?

阿弥陀佛
Unfortunately, Southern California is also pretty much fall color-deprived – but I’ve been lucky enough to have been in Kyoto in the fall and it’s pretty breathtaking. For anyone planning a trip to Japan, I’d definitely recommend going the 2nd half of November, there’s a lot more to Japan than Akihabara after all.
Philippines is also deprived of such colorful leaves. If ever I get to go to Japan, it’ll be in autumn XD
Yep, in Tasmania where there are maple trees planted along the street. Lovely.
But Japan is best!
