The officcial website for second season of the anime series Darker Than Black: Ryusei no Gemini has been updated with a streaming promotional video of the side stories of Darker than BLACK. The side stories are supposed to explain what happened to Hei in between season 1 and 2.
The side stories will be bundles along with the even-numbered Blu-ray Disc and DVD volumes of Darker Than Black: Ryūsei no Gemini. Which means the first episode is bundled with the second BD and DVD volumes, and they are scheduled to go on sale on 27 Jan 2010.

I had been so busy for the past few weeks that I didn’t managed to catch the second season of Darker than Black. So hows the storyline so far for those who have started watching the show?
IMO, season 2 surpasses season 1 in terms of the story. Gone is the annoying “Two-episode arcs” style and the plot this time is progressive. Other then that, DtB2 is similar DtB1 IMO.
So far i love the plot in season 2 more than season 1. Hahas
Its good, season two gives a new take on Hei. But the side stories really help to explain why Hei is in such a condition.
