4.7 Million Copes of Modern Warfare 2 Sold On Launch Day

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is on its way to becoming one of the world’s most popular game with the “biggest launch in history across all forms of entertainment”.
As reported on Kotaku, Activision has announced that the game has managed to sell more than 4.7 million copies in one single day, earning more than US$ 310 million. And whats amazing is that this figures are only that of North America and the UK.
And while watching my “Mobile on TV“, I catch this segment on CNN introducing Modern Warfare 2 and its exciting “game premier”:
