Square Enix Reduces Staff By 10 Percent
Square Enix has officially announced that it will be reducing its 3,805 employees by 10 percent, in a bid to “revitalise” the company.

The “shedding exercise” is expected to take place sometime in March 2010, despite the fact that Square Enix has increase profits of 39.3% (131 billion yen) compared to the previous financial year.
The announcement mentioned that the staff reduction is due to the fact that Square Enix has ungone a couple of mergers such as the acquisition of Eidos and thus the management has decided to reduce the organisation’s size to improve coordination.

I’m quite sure the company is gonna rake in big bucks once Final Fantasy XIII gets released on the Japanese market and internationally.

This time it sounded logical, they already had all his staff, all of enix staff an now all of eidos staff so it was a logical reduction
Well, I’m sure that they will never fired
Nabuo Uematsu (The legendary musician), Yoshitaka Amano (The one that illustrate the final fantasy logo) and Tetsuya Nomura…
Haa~~~ If other’s staff are fired,… I’m actually don’t give a damn except for these three at above… hahhaha!! XD
Uematsu left Square Enix in 2004 and formed his own company called Smile Please;[9] He now works with Sakaguchi (formerly Square founder/leader) for Mistwalker
Didn’t you know? The leaders split from Square and allowed Tetsuya to lead the Final Fantasy crew.
Yoshitaka amano currently develops concept art for Square and Mistwalker.
That’s a SWEET looking bike to “ride,” lol, but yeah, that’s definitely something else. However, you know about 30 percent of the volume of the former staff is supposed to be hired back right?
