In celebration of 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam, Bandai is releasing a very special premium collectible boxset.

The set would contain twelve 1/44 scale gundam models – they would be in clear-plastic with glitter injected into the plastic. Here’s a closer look at the twelve different featured Gundam in this boxset:

As you can see, they range from the early first Gundam to the latest Gundam 00. The boxset would be produce in limited number and would come in along with special serial numbered boxes.

Preorders have already began and each boxset is retailing for 15,700 yen. It is expected to ship in late Jan 2010.

If they had made them into tiny 24K gold gundam, I would really consider. But then again, the price would be just 15,000 yen ^^
