Just a little more than six months after releasing Street Fighter IV, Capcom announced an incremental sequel titled Super Street Fighter IV scheduled for release in Spring 2010.

Super Street Fighter IV will feature an additional eight new characters, and will also include tweaked gameplay, new combos and improved online mode. Here’s a youtube clip of the Juri and ThunderHawk in action:
Its quite dissapointing that Capcom didn’t just release it as a DLC and now those who bought Street Fighter IV have to purchase an almost similar yet improved version of the game >_<

But apparently the size of everything was to much for DLC. With the gametweaks, a lobby(probably), 8-10 new characters…
Don´t get me wrong. I am as pissed as you that this is a “new” game. But then when I think back to the original SF2 this was the same way, releasing new title after title based on the same game.
So the big question is when will we see Super Street Fighter IV Turbo Remix?
This surely will hurt sales of this SF because not everyone will be willing to pay that much for a game they already own, if they release it as DLC too, then we could see a lot of people buying it and they would leave the disc version to the people that doesn’t already own one
Apparently the ones who own the disc and get this new version for a reduced prize will also receive something special. What this special thing is is secret at this point.
