Sakuranbo Elementary School さくらんぼ小学校 might sound pretty innocent to the most of us. But a popular eroge company also uses the same title, hence creating controversy when the mayor of Yamagata prefecture decided use it for …

Nendo’s Travelogue: Bring Me Out! 05

Submitted by Alafista on Wednesday, 23 September 200914 Comments

I always look forward to the fortnightly Nendos’ Travelogue, and this weekend we have having out fifth outing! This time round, we are going to put our lives on the line, conduct the photoshoot along the railway lines and make use of the beautiful tracks as our backdrop.

Since we only decided on the theme and not the exact spot, there wouldn’t be any location description this week. However, I would like to take the opportunity to share some thoughts that I have gathered over the past 9-10 weeks.

When I first planning this Nendo’s Travelogue project, I thought to myself, “How difficult can it be to pose Nendoroids and then take pictures of them?”. But four chapters into the project, I can share with you that I always reach home dead tired.

Posing in the outdoors is never easy and its sometime difficult to find an ideal spot or moment. At times, we place our figures at great peril by putting them on ledges or railings, and more than often they fall and “hurt” themselves with paint scraps or broken joints. Other times, we have to keep looking at the ground to find the tiny Nendoroid part that had just dropped onto the grassy patch or small crack on the ground.

Nevertheless, all the hard work is worth it when we finally see the results of our hard work. Its just satisfying to hear that you folks enjoy and appreciate our project, and leave comments telling me you look forward to our next outing. So do keep on coming back and I’m sure we will capture more wonderful fun moments with our Nendoroids.

Another thing that I had really enjoy from this project is traveling to places in Singapore that I would never have gone otherwise. I had never visited Marina Barrage or Labrador Park, so its was great fun to actually find out that even such a tiny island country like Singapore has amazing sights and views.

That’s all that I wanted to share for now. So please go ahead and vote for your favorite Nendoroids, and then head over to kodomut.com to vote for the other two. Voting starts right now and closes on Friday evening.
