Here’s a really coooool way to send stuffs to you friends and family overseas, freeze it inside a huge block of ice!

Ornamental ice blocks with flowers and fruit inside are ready for shipment at Yamane Corp. in Tokyo’s Shinagawa Ward. It takes almost a week to make the ice blocks highly transparent, and besides flowers, any water-insoluble goods — such as toys and clothes — can be frozen inside them, according to the company’s president. I would love to try sending a thick wollen sweater inside a block of ice to my friends that live in the hot Sahari desert. Too bad I don’t have any friends living there =P
