After many weeks of rumors, Canon has finally announced yesterday that they will be releasing a new DSLR – Canon 7D.

Here’s a quick summary of the specs:
- 18 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor
- 8 frames per second continuous shooting
- 19-point AF system
- 1080p 24fps HD video
- 3-inch LCD
- wireless flash control
The Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR camera is scheduled to released in late September and will be retailing for US$1,699.00.
It seems like Canon took all those feedback from the 5D Mark II users and put them into the new 7D. Too bad its not a full frame, so I wouldn’t be getting it. Right now I’m saving up so that I can get my 5D Mark II by the end of the year ^^
