August 2009 Stats
Alafista.com has finally hit another major milestone – the 5,000 daily unique visitor mark, which I had been hoping for after so many months. I must give a big hug to all my wonderful readers who has kept coming back ^^
August 2009 had been a really busy month for me. It was really difficult to juggle between office work, attending photography classes on alternate Wednesdays, learning Japanese every Friday, and bring the Nendoroids out for photoshoots on alternate weekends for Nendo’s Travelogue [ねんどろいどの旅日記] Project. But still I managed to pull through and I’m happy to see that what I learnt from my photography classes had paid off ^^
Nonetheless, I’m still planning to serve you folks with more interesting bits of otaku and popular culture from Japan. For this month, one of the features that I’m reviving would be the weekly Japanese okashi お菓子 (snacks) review of yummy limited edition Pocky and KitKat, etc. It would be a weekly Sunday feature since weekends are the times when I consume losta snacks.
In addition, I’m also glad to announce that I’m one of the chosen affliate blogs for the upcoming AFA09 event. I must say a huge thanks to Maha for helping me create the banner. I do hope that this new partnership would bring introduce new readers to my site while at the same time through my site showcase to other parts of the world that Singapore has great anime events too ^^
More details for this month’s stats: July served just over 607,725 page views to an average of 5,123 unique daily users. The monthly unique users amounted to an accumulative total of 158,836. As I’m mentioned earlier, hitting the 5k mark was a really important milestone for me, and I would love to see more readers gather to this site. The next milestone is of course the 6k mark which I target to achieve before my birthday in November. So do shout out to every friends and family members that you know and show them the wonder of otaku culture through here ^^

And with the Nendroid posts you´ve gotten better and better. Not that it was bad, but for me it gives of a pretty unique feeling visiting here and see that you take time to make these photo sessions for us visitors and as a learning experience for you.

I told a friend on school about Alafista because she and her boyfriend love anime culture, so I hope they will visit frequently aswell.
