Man Robs Post Office of 10 Million Yen With Fruit Knife

Sometimes it just seems so easy to commit crime in Japan. Take for instance this news story about a man who robbed an Aomori post office of 10 million yen on Wednesday, and all he used was a simple fruit knife.
According to authorities, at the time there were no customers in the post office, and the two employees were alone. Neither were injured in the incident. Police say the man is in his 30s or 40s, about 160 centimeters tall and was wearing a green baseball cap and a light blue long-sleeve polo shirt. After he exited the post office, he jumped into a vehicle parked nearby.

if someone tried to rob me with a fruit knife, i would put up a fight but i’d still be weary of the knife… fruit knives are long and sharp enough to reach vital organs, infact just the other day i watched (on TV) someone unprovacatively stab a guy to death with a fruit knife, one stab went right between a rib and pierced his heart
