Aoi Nishimata seem to be expanding her illustration portfolio onto all the every common items we see in our daily lives – moe rice and moe shochu featured previously. This time she has provided illustration work for the container box of a top grade watermelon called Yume Akita 「夢あきた」.

The watermelons are highly limited to 1000 boxes and they are sold for 3,150 yen each. Gigazine did a nice review of the watermelon and its container. It seems like each watermelon even comes with a certificate of authencity.
