Sea of Sunflowers

Spotted this awesome photo of a sea of sunflowers. It really brightened my day and chased away my Monday blues.

Sunflowers are in full bloom at one of the four main sunflower fields in the Yamanashi Prefecture city of Hokuto. The blooming season for nearly 85,000 sunflowers at the 8,800 square-meter-field will continue until early August. A total of 600,000 sunflowers will have bloomed in all the fields by the end of August, according to the city’s agriculture promotion corporation. (Mainichi)

Recently I seen a documentary that featured Farm Tomita, and I really want to go to Hokkaido in the Summer to see the lovely flowers. I bet it would be awesome to just lie down in the flower bed.
