Are a someone that needs to have your morning cup of java everyday before you start work? If you are living in Japan, then you can just head to McDonalds and try to get a free cup of coffee.

McDonalds Japan have launched this campaign between 24 July till 30 Jul 2009, where the first 100,000 customs get coffee for free! (According to JapanProbe, the offer appears to be limited to stores in Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa, Chiba, Gunma, Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures.)

I’m not a big fan of the coffee at McDonalds, I always thought it tasted like something that came out of the drain but they still termed it as “Gourmet Coffee”.

Anyway I think this kind of promotion would only work in Japan because if they had it in Singapore, folks would just head in for their free coffee without buying anything at all ^^
