Here’s an awesome video by Jon Rawlinson featuring Kuroshio Sea – World’s 2nd Largest Aquarium Tank.

This was shot at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan.
The main tank called the ‘Kuroshio Sea’ holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water and features the world’s second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.

This video is just simply amazing and sad at the same time, I know the fishies would be happier in the ocean. Suddenly makes me feel like protecting our ocean. But on a side note, I wonder how they managed to contain all that pressure from the water with just a glass panel.

I don’t know, regular meals and free of predators, I’d think many of the fish would be totally ok with this.
But it feels kinda sad that all they can do is swim around and let people take photographs. I’m sure they dream of going to the “All Blue” someday like Sanji.
Looks lovely, I would love to see the whale sharks for myself <3
They do look a bit 'cramped together' in the photo though.
Oh and I love the perfect Silhouettes of those people!
this is so beautiful ! I really wish I could see it irl ! :—O
Im amazed by the sheer size of it.
Watching the diver in the bottom left corner and seeing how small he looks
wow
this is just amazing. I am putting this on my list of places to visit
Yeah its already on my list as well. I wonder how does the world’s largest aquarium look like ^^
