Tetsujin 28-go Statue Work In Progress

Here’s a lovely photo showing the work in progress of the soon-to-be-unveiled Tetsujin 28-go statue, which will be placed in Wakamatsu Park in Kobe.

This gigantic robot is being welded together and treated for rust at a factory in Kishiwada, Osaka Prefecture. Construction started in November and is expected to complete in late September 2009.

This is gonna be another epic status following the coolsome Life-size Gundam RX-78. Thankfully this one would remain in the park permanently.
