It has been quite some time since the Inuyasha manga series ended. Moetron reports that a new season of Inuyasha will begin airing this coming Fall season and the series will cover all the remaining stories till the end, which is manga volume 36-56.
This piece of news was announced in the latest issue of Weekly Shounen Sunday (Vol.34).

This is definitely great news, I have been waiting for the anime to start airing since I don’t have time to catch up on the manga.
It’s a nice news, because i think Inuyasha needs the real end and not the open end we saw on tv. But people in many anime forums are “praying” for another end, different from the manga XD. Sometimes people is so annoying!

I got one thing to say about this news: AW YEAH! And to think, just yesterday I watching the last episode of the original Inuyasha anime and when it got to the end I was once again thinking “WTF? It can’t end like this!”. I had all but given up hope that the anime series was going to continue, but today, it was like a godsend for me that the anime is really gonna continue!OMG!!!!!!!!!!

omg i love inusha!!!! I thought the ending with epiosde 167 actually sucked but the manga series was pretty awesome. omg i just can’t wait till it comes back but its gonnna suck having to wait for each and every epiosde
