Which is your favorite anime series of Spring 2009? Dengeki polled their readers and gathered their feedback from 19 June 2009 to 1 July 2009. It is obvious that the highly popular and commercially successful K-On! clinched the top spot for most popular anime series.

    And where the hell is Hayate no Gotoku, my favorite series?! Yes, I like it even more than K-ON! and believe me, I enjoyed K-ON! a lot.

    It’s a matter of blind fandom. Every KyoAni show will be voted into the heavens, even when it doesn’t deserve the praise. K-On will be a prime example, in 6 months nobody will even TALK about this show anymore (which in my point of view had terribly sloppy animation).

    I’m curious if the current repetition of “Endless Eight” in Haruhi 2 will get the proper reaction from the fans – though I doubt it.

    In the meantime, I fully agree: Hayate S2 belongs in the top tier of this season. Definitely.

    Eden should be first, N I actually enjoy basquash! more than Valkyria.

    N Hayate should deserve more praise for it’s chaotic story.
