Looks like Nintendo is fighting a losing war against the pirates and R4 flash carts. Not only can you get them in game shops, they are even spotted in this vending machine in Osaka’s Den-Den Town. And if you look carefully, they are all sold out!

Of course the prices for those R4 are total ripoff for 8,000 yen. You can get them for a quarter of the price if you buy them online. Not that I’m familiar because I don’t support piracy!!
