Sengoku BASARA 3 Announced
Famitsu reports that Capcom is now working on Sengoku BASARA 3 『戦国BASARA3』 and the game is scheduled for release in 2010.
This news follows their recent teaser website which had numerals being crossed out in a flash animation. Those dates indicated the important time periods of Japanese feudal age.
In 1560, Oda Nobunaga defeated Imagawa Yoshimoto in the Battle of Okehazama. In 1573, Oda Nobunaga defeated Ashikaga Shogunate. In 1582, Oda Nobunaga was betrayed by Akechi Mitsuhide and died at Honnouji, Kyoto. Finally in 1600, Tokugawa Ieyasu won the Battle of Sekigahara and seized Japan.
Its little surprise that Capcom is producing another sequel for the Sengoku BASARA because the series has been a commercial success and even spun-off into an anime series with losta chara good tie-in as well.
You forgot the spinoff 2-D fighting Sengoku Basara X. I wish Capcom would give this series another chance outside of Japan and not ‘Devil Kings’ it, they keep pushing Monster Hunter (which is great) even though it’s never gonna be as successful in Japan.

Hope they won’t dub it because the seiyuus there are too awesome and the game script in Japanese is simply priceless..
