For juse 1,400 yen, you get a popcorn set that comes with a Asuka figure, a drink in Nerv paper cup and a paper bag worth of salted popcorn. And if you fork out 50 yen more, you can get caramalised popcorn.
And on the box, it reads: 「これこそ、実食用に作られた世界一の本物のポップコーンなのよ。だからアンタもたべるのよ。」. Briefly translated: “These popcorn are the best you can get in the world, so eat it and stop complaining!”

I know that it is expensive to watch a movie in Japan. But I didn’t you know you had to pay so much for a popcorn combo.

This popcorn combo better have some darn good-tastng popcorn and soda ;x
Someone I know saw EVA 2.0 in Japan and said this movie was incredible. It is NOT a rerun of the series like 1.0 was, but has a new plot and many new twists. Also, the new pilot Mary Illustrious is completely kick ass! Cannot wait to see this!
That’s one expensive snack box but it’s worth to be a collectible =3
