We know that the Macross Frontier movie has been in the works for some time, but no official date has been announced yet. However, Gigazine has gotten hold of the leaked info – The movie is titled “Theatrical Version Macross F – Itsuwari Utahime -” 「劇場版マクロスF 虚空歌姫～イツワリノウタヒメ～」 and it is scheduled to screen on 21 Nov 2009.
The info was revealed on Kadokawa’s Cineplex advance ticketing website. Here’s a screenshot of the info before it was taken down:

It is not THAT bad… at least it is this year and not 2010 or worst!…November will arrive in a blink of an eye.
But in the end it will be more like a year until WE actually get to see it, sadly.
