List Of Banned Words In Eroge

The Japanese authorities are starting to clamp down on eroge with the recent controversy over Rapelay. Now an online eroge download shop dejipare (NSFW) has compiled a list of keywords belonging to contents and genre that might soon become restricted material in future.

Here’s the translated list by Canned Dogs:

  • Rape
  • Loli
  • Gang Rape
  • Sexual violence (陵辱)
  • Cruel sexual play (鬼畜)
  • Reverse rape
  • Shoujo
  • Forbidden sex (相姦)
  • Reverse sexual violence (逆陵辱)
  • Forced (強要)
  • Group sex (複数プレイ)
  • School council (生徒会)
  • Bestiality (not catgirls or vampires etc)
  • Bondage
  • Coercion
  • Train groping (車内わいせつ)
  • Enjo Kousai (wikipedia link)
  • Incest
  • Torture
  • Bind tightly (緊縛)
  • Pregnant
  • Rape (強姦) (another way to refer to rape)
  • Slave
  • Pregnant woman
  • Imprisonment
  • Impregnation

I’m wondering if they restrict the word “Shoujo” doesn’t that cover majority of the eroge? Looks like Yuki and the rest of us are not going to be able to play eroge for quite some time.

Read about this earlier today and lol’d at most of it. Acording to the site I read it on some site are restricting their viewing to Japanese IP addresses only and are telling the foreign feminists to GTFO lol

i didnt play eroge, but i didnt like the way the whole thing is going on. i heard rumour that the feminist group may eventually change their target to anime. i dunno what to do but **** them if they do. they have better to do instead on picking on anime.

Most the concepts fall in other categories in the same list, anyway, that cover a lot of H so it will really kill the genre.

Some way, some how, people are going to find ways around it. Tis the nature of it and the internets.
