Evangelion Collectible Tumblers

In promotion of the upcoming Evangelion 2.0 movie, Japanese fast food chain Lotteria is giving fans a chance to collect lovely Evangelion drinking mugs and coasters.

Customers who visit the restaurant between 19 June 2009 and 31 August 2009 will be able to bring the lovely tumblers home by just paying an extra 400 yen. There are three designs for the tumblers: Rei Ayanami, Petit Eva, and Evangelion-motiv. In addition, there are also 10 differently designed coasters. Of course, you would have to pay another 100 yen to bring those cardboard home. LOL

I thought the concept is quite lame. If you see Gigazine review of the tumbler, you would know that its just a piece of printed paper stuck behind the plastic tumbler. I could have printed whatever I wanted, headed to a discout store and created my personal tumbler just the same way ^^
