75 Cars Windows Smashed In One Night
I always try to avoid leaving anything valuable (e.g. laptop) inside the car when nobody is around because I believe it would prevent thieves from breaking the car window and making off with the item. Here’s an interesting news story where seventy-five cars had their windows smashed in on Saturday night and early Sunday morning in Hakodate City with some of the cars missing bags, CDs and other personal belongings.

Police said the cars had their windows smashed between around 7 p.m. Saturday night and 3 a.m. Sunday morning. They were parked in apartment building car parks and on streets near Goryokaku Park, all within a radius of about one kilometer.
Police received a call from a resident at about 7 p.m. who said the side mirror on his car had been broken off, and another resident told police on Sunday that he heard the sound of glass smashing at around 1.30 a.m.

Its really interesting that 75 cars within a radius of one kilometer were smashed within one single night. Maybe it was done by tadpoles falling from the sky.
