Here’s another intersting project by Kojima Productions that I’m eagerly anticipating, even though most likely it will never reach the arcades outside Japan – Metal Gear Arcade.
Not much is known at the moment, but from what is reported on Kotaku:
It was announced at the Konami press conference. Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima and his studio Kojima Productions are involved. At the press conference, it was announced that the game uses “3D googles”. This teaser images reads “Tactical Online Action.”
A trademark appeared this past April. That trademark was protected against “entertainment services” for “providing a website featuring information about video games” and “arranging and conducting video game competitions.”
The game will be out in Japan later this year.

Those booth look really cool, and I guess they would be network togther for some serious stealth tactical action. Hopefully more news will come out over the couple of days.
Komani did announce they are planning to release the arcades worldwide short after distributing them in Japan, so lucky us.
