Dependable Groom Saves Bride From Purse-snatcher

Sometimes you want to be sure that the man you marry is dependable and will come to you during times of need. Just like this groom who came running to his bride after a purse-snatcher attacked his wife.

The 26-year-old bride had her bag snatched by a man riding a bicycle on a road in Tokyo’s Kita Ward in December last year.

The 27-year-old groom chased the thief for about 15 meters and knocked over his bicycle. While the bridegroom was grappling with the man, the man dropped his mobile phone. This enabled police to track him down, and he was arrested on May 22.

The incident occurred just two hours after the couple had exchanged their vows at a hotel in Shinagawa Ward. The blushing bride said she was impressed with the groom’s quick response.

“It made me think he was dependable, and my love for him deepened,” she said.

I wonder what would the bride have said if his husband was one of those cowardly men who would let the purse snatcher get away without putting up a fight. LOL

    I applaud the chivalry

but the groom should have been more careful

for all we know the the snatcher could have been carrying a weapon and he would have been injured

Alternatively, what if he fought and failed miserably?

    • KiTT says:

It could have been a set up by either one of them to test if the other was dependable or worth the time lol

      We may never know

That’s so cool, it’s fun to have a man fight for you… but it’s even better to fight it out yourself! HAR!

It’s all fun and games until someone loses an eye. Better hide the knives and heavy plates before you start. lol.
