The Next Generation PSP – PSP Go

After tons of rumors, we finally have the confirmed photos and specs of how the next generation of PSP – the PSP Go which is set to debut at the upcoming E3.

Here’s some information on the PSP Go that is reported on Kotaku:

  • The PSP Go will arrive this fall.
  • It’s 43 percent lighter than the PSP-3000
  • It has a 3.8-inch screen
  • It has 16 gigs of flash memory and bluetooth support

When placed alongside the old PSP-3000, it is much lighter and slimmer. I like how it seems to be almost similar in size to the iPhone. That would make it much easier to carry around.

i here it has no umd slot anymore, this is epic fail and will cost sony a bundle, noone is gonna want that if theyve got and older model, i myself went for the 2000 because of the 3000 having the shock protection chasey removed for weight purposes, and also, that psp go is ugly as sin…why on earth do the buttons fold away?! surely u want the screen to fold away, cos of this dramatic design floor my psp had a scratch on the screen after a single days usage, sony have shot themselves in the foot this time, u can bet ur ass they will still release umd’s cos this thing is gonna fail

I don’t see how you’re supposed to play games on this. Doesn’t look comfortable at all.

    The analog! The analog?!
How do you suppose to play Monster Hunter on this? =___=
Good luck to future PSP Go users. Hopefully the reviews for this would be ok..

I thought the only thing the original PSP lacked was second analog stick. Now they’re even further away from realizing my handheld dreams D:
