Sometimes people who are unemployed have too much time on their hands. Since they are not doing anything, they might as well deprive others of their important time and prevent them from getting to work. This unemployed 56-year-old man was arrested for going around and flashing himself on the JR Kagoshima Line.
According to reports, at around 7:50 a.m., Takashi Ishikawa, 56, boarded a train heading from Ogura toward Tosu City in Saga Prefecture, dropped his pants and flashed a 24 year-old female passenger. When questioned by the police, he admitted that:
“I got on the train with the intention of flashing someone.”
Just when train conductors were about to question Ishikawa about the incident, the train stopped at Spaceworld Station in Kitakyushu City. Ishikawa ran out of the train and jumped onto the tracks and ran about 650 meters before he was apprehended by JR staff who found him hiding in the shadow of a freight train.
Ishikawa was fully clothed when he made his attempted escape. The train was stopped for over 30 minutes, delaying or canceling 13 other trains and affecting about 7,000 passengers.
