When we talk about back-stabbers, we mean a close friend who has betrayed you in some way. But this poor innocent 45-year-old woman was really stabbed in the back while she was walking along a street in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro area early Thursday morning.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, the woman was on her way home around 12:30 a.m. when the attack occurred.

She told police that a man, whom she didn’t know, walked past her and then turned around and stabbed her in the back.

She called an ambulance for herself and was taken to hospital where she remains in a stable condition. Police said the knife wound in her back was 2 cm deep. According to the woman, the assailant looked to be in his 40s and was about 170 cm tall.

It really sucks to have some stranger stab you with a knife for no apparent reason. These folks should be sent to some isolated island and the surrounding waters are full of man-eating jellyfishes.
